Anyone spray bedliner on their factory bed rail covers/fender flares?
I have the tall factory bed rail covers and they're fading and taking some wear and tear. I saw fender flares sprayed with line x bedliner and it got me to thinking about doing that on my bed rails.. anyone ever done this or have pictures of bed rails or fender flares sprayed?

I used Dupli-Color Truck Bed Liner in a can on my flares and valence. I simply sanded with 200 grit, wiped on PPG Wax & Grease Remover, then used Dupli-Color adhesion promotor, then shot on the bedliner. The key is being about a foot away from the surface and the sun directly on it to the get the right texture. Not too smooth, not too rough, just right. The roll on stuff I would think would be far too rough on your soft mitt when washing the truck...pulling up fibers and hairs. The Dupli-Color stuff seemed to last quite a while.....recoated after 4 years because of fading.
These are when they were shot...
And before re-coat 4 years later...
