Stepside toolbox options?

I am looking for a tool box for my stepside. I dont want some big goddy box that takes up half my bed and window. Does anyone know of a low profile one that is thinner than the normal ones? I want to take a box that goes over the bed side of the full size trucks and use it for my actuall box. They are thinner and will leave most of my bed available. Has anyone tried this? Any input? Something like this http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...009&lpage=none

I think your best option would be to try to buy one off of another stepside ranger guy. Boxes CAN be very expensive brand new. Or see if there's a "craigslist" for a big city near you. Ppl post stuff they have to sell on the lists, and I've seen ranger stepside boxes before. You could also just get a tonneau cover also though.

I got a DeeZee competitor series it was 300$ in black anadized aluminum.
Its 2-3" above flat. Tractor supply company has a HUGE book of toolboxes
they can order you just about anything.

I don't have any pics, but i got a nice plastic one at wal-mart $30. It is plenty big enough and does the job.
