Painting bed cabs?

Edit: bed caps, not cabs lol

Has anyone painted or heard of anyone painting the stock gray EDGE bed caps? Mine look kinda crappy and kinda old, I was thinking about using the duplicolor bedliner that comes in the spray can on them.

Line-X would look pretty good on it. Might be a couple hundred bucks but it will look very nice.

Use regular cheap-o black spray paint. I wouldn't touch them though.

Duplicolor adhesion promoter, krylon fusion flat black, krylon matte clear, done. There's probably gonna be some scratches if you use your bed.

I've had mine painted w/ Krylon Fusion since 03. I've had to repaint a couple times but I'm rough on them. It's not uncommon for me to stand on them while I'm loading kayaks. Even so, the paint holds up well enough to make it worth doing and it looks sooo much better.

Yeah, that does look really good especially since your truck is black. I need to Photoshop mine black to see how it would look on my truck since it's red.

Thanks for the comps!

The rear bumper pad was replaced w/ a black one in April so it all flows now. I need to take some current photos...
