i am getting intake done finally by the end of this month, and a friend of mine that owns a shop said he did one on a ranger before and he said that it wouldn't run right. he said the filter had to be enclosed, like the volant intake boxes. i was just curious if anyone has heard of this before. because i am wantin to run a open cone....

 

unplug battery when installing. Let idle for 5 minutes after it is installed so it can relearn some parameters.
