My input is this, I have had several 4wd ext.cab rangers. My first thing was to take Factory muffler off, weld in new straight pipe..Take it to my Dyno boys and let them open this baby up.I was only producing 101 hp to the rear tires and when they finished pumping her up I now have 140 at rear tires(235/75/15). 20mpg and beats most stock bigger trucks also..Yes I do have all Amsoil lubricants installed before the dyno.Air filters and all. Oh ya she barks when ya get er on..

I guess I'm "OLD" school, or just plain old. "True duels" meant 1 exhaust pipe per bank of cylinders on V style engines. Whether or not you have cats or mufflers is irrelevant.

True dual is just that, the exhaust from each of the headers never cross ( H or Y pipes) and exit either out the side of the truck or the back end. The cats do more then enough to deaden the sound , the tuning comes from the mufflers. I just love it when a Civic flies by me and has a chrome plated bazooka sticking out the back of his car. The sound never changes. Its the same tone at any speed...
Post more pics of that dully....wow thats wild....
