Got Stuck

Well, as the title says, I got stuck bad last weekend and now Im grounded from driving it for 6 weeks. So I thought I might as well fix up a couple things and make it pretty for when I get it back.

So far ive taken out the seats, carpet, roof, and all the plastic stuff on the doors and rear wall. So basicly I have a metal cab. Ive already gotten the seats redone in leather.

Im thinking of replacing the carpet with something new because of all the mold and **** under the old carpet. So I ask, what do yall recomend me do to make things look nice on the inside. Ive got lots of time and a little bit of extra cash to buy materials.

I dont have pics, but I have lots of friends that do. And as soon as I get hold of em they are going on the fail blog. In a nutshell, it took (1) Chevy 1500 4x4 4" lift, (1) BL'ed 4x4 Tahoe, (4) Tow Trucks, and (1) flatbed wrecker to pull my *** out, lol. The sad bit is that the Tahoe and the 1500 were the ones pulling the 4 tow trucks and wrecker out because they got stuck with me. So I know there are pics out there with 5 trucks all stuck in a line with a tiny ranger at the end.

So... anyone have any idea what kind of carpet I should use? I kinda want it to be dark to match the seats.

your def going to want to find a pre molded carpet for it. while its out you could clean it really well and let it dry for a few days. when i got my truck it was a roll-over and there was about 2 inches of water on the floor. i took the carpet out, hosed the broken glass and stink out of it, let it dry and it was like new. hell it even had the new truck smell up untill a couple years ago lol.

I've always been a fan of no carpet. Maybe if you use rubber it won't be so nasty down there.

Sucks that it happened but when you stop moving let off of the gas. Don't keep it down until you bury the frame.

You should get vinyl flooring.

get vinyl flooring. I love having no carpet in my truck. All is takes it some armor all to make it look nice and is easy to clean. I also dont have to get mad at people with dirty shoes.

Define "Vinyl Flooring". I have no idea where to get what you are talking about.

Ah, sounds intresting. I assume that if i were to find an edge at a JY I could get the flooring? Does it come out like carpet?
