Vinyl A/C Controls...

Ive seen people use like paint to paint the colors of the controls, CD player, and speedo..

but i was wanting to do somethin like that but i didnt want to paint..i want to be able to return to stock if i wanted to..

and since i work at a sign company and i work with viynl i was thinkin of cuttin a piece of blue translusive (light shines through)..to place behind and see what it looks like..

and i was just wonderin if anybody has attempted this other then using paint

It will work, except that the stock bulbs have a very yellow caste to them and the blue will still look slightly green. Replacing the bulbs with some superbright white LEDs helped mine greatly. (I used 2 LEDs to replace each bulb, 4 LEDs total.)
