so, i only have 800 watts rms going into both my subs i think ill double that. what do yall think of two 12" kicker CVX 750 rms a piece?? I need a new setup for my truck also some box building plans to house them

Be ready to upgrade your alternator to either a 170A or 200A unit also.

if thats RMS u better also look into plexi windows.....u WILL blow out standard glass with real 1500 watts of power...

It would be wise to upgrade your alternator. Your windows should be fine as there are people with 5000+ watts and stock glass.

were talking RMS, the ranger back windows are known to not like it, as i can not tell if he has a slider in the back or not, i had 1500 RMS system in the back of my old ranger, i blew that out the first time the bass hit hard with the windows up....

FWIW, 1500 RMS on some kcikers is well over 3k peak, prolly more near 4k. and cars can do it becuase the side windows are not rigid mount and the back and front glass have a curvature to them which doesnt allow the frequency to resonate in the glass, if u have a slider rear window u should be fine, if u dont.....bye bye glass

all i know is im damn happy my ranger has a slider this time around, solid glass sucks for systems lol
