Im wondering if the instrument cluster from a 2005 ranger would work in a 1999 ranger?

i thought it was 95 to 03 that were compatible....

if true then 99 in an 05 won't work

Nope, won't work.
after 2003 ford changed the pin outs, so it won't plug in

95 to 03 are the only clusters that will work for you.

Yes it will. It will just require alot of splicing wires and if I remember correctly there is no way of making the odometer work.

Stigg, are those blue lights on your cluster aftermarket? Cause they look great.

I would totally consider doing that to my 09 4x4. I think the lights on the door panel window switch and lock/un-lock would look out of place. Unless they could be changed to a blue LCD as well.

Do you think it's possible?
