Just a little bit

my 03's got that weenie 2.3, and i dont mind, but it makes me hesitant to go for bigger tires, is there an easy way to get like a 1", 2" lift, but without making me look stupid with normal sized rims/tires? and how much might it cost?

actually, maybe not even a body lift, would i be better or worse off getting the height gain (and more suspension travel) from changing suspension components?

Do a 2 inch lift, and run 31x10.5's. I did on my 04 with the 2.3, manual tranny with 3.73 rear gears. Truck held up just fine to them.

Many options here depending on what you have. You can cut down a 3" BL to whatever height you want and that will be around $100 but then you gotta make custom brackets for the bumpers. You can to a T-bar crank if you have them or coil spacers if you have coils or lift coils. LT kits also just give a slight lift but are fairly expensive.
