Looking for easy power adders?

Explorer Express or Caster & Morse. The RP kit is just the manifold. You have to find a Eaton M90 with an oval intake port from a T-Bird SC.

gibsons from what i understand sound pretty stock
if you want a cheap exhaust get a dynomax super turbo from summit racing, i just ordered one yesterday cause ive been wanting to do it and have heard from a few people that it will net me a 2mpg increase, i have a 4cyl though .... but $179 shipped for a full catback is amazing to me cause i used to be into hondas and decent catbacks were over $400. Ill keep you posted on how i like it but i wonder how long that price is gonna last.

Aftermarket Exhaust System: $300
K&N Intake: $250
Headers: $500
Full Pulley Kit: $200
Roller Rockers: $300
Coil Pack, Wires, and Plugs: $150
Tuner: $400
E-Fan: $50
That pretty much sums up the power adding aftermarket for the ford ranger.
Total Cost: $2150
Total Power: Not more than a v8
I stopped wanting to mod my engine because I can get more power with better reliability out of a v8 with out losing much MPG and getting an even better sound!
I figured I'd pick up a junkyard block out of an explorer, do an engine rebuild, add a few small power adders, and get a torque tune for it. Strap it to a 5 spd transmission and install.
