Lowered my FX4 a little.
I know the title will bring the hate, but my torsion bars are frigged and my front end sits low.
So, the only option for me to freely level it was remove the rear block, resulting in this. Perfectly level 33" in the middle of all four wheel wells
And after a quick GIMPing (I'm too cheap for Photoshop...) it looks like this.
It currently sits as it looks in picture two, and looks goofy. Its either going to look like picture 1 again soon, or picture 3 in a while. What do you think?

I was going to, but I'm really digging the last pic. The truck has been wrecked in front end before I got it (my profile picture) and I'm not certain the problem is the torsion bars. The driver side bolt is maxed right now, but the passenger bolt sits below the cover. I need to find a used driver side #1 bar and see if it makes any difference before I buy new bars.

Not every 4wd is meant to be a offroad machine.

For real. Not everyone needs a huge truck. I like the look of lifted trucks, but they aren't for me. I considered lifting, but I can't justify losing power and gas mileage from big tires just for show. Stock height (or slightly lower) is high enough for me.

Yea... my front end is ****ed... its got a turn or 2 left, maybe .25", but it was aligned at this height, and i don't wanna pay for an alignment to get less than .5".

It had noticeable sag with a couple 50lb bags of feed in the rear of the bed, not really noticeable with the bags in the front. Doesn't bother me enough to put a block back in.

If you pulled the blocks, you should be running shorter rear shocks. This is true anywhere but especially if you drive off road and/or carry cargo. As it is now modified, your shocks and their upper and lower mounts have become the jounce bump stops for the rear suspension. Those parts are designed to damp the spring motion, not support the impact force of bottoming suspension.
