i cant deside what style i want on my ranger,it is a 1988 and it is going to get paint ferrari red,i have bougth chrome/silver wheels,but i cant deside about the grille,mirrors and windowlists

Chrome, to me looks good on that year Ranger.

 

search the picture galleries and try to find examples of both. It just comes down to personal preference

 

i say red with black on the bottom then the Classic II wheels the way they are

 

I say chrome. It will look bad ***. Those years trucks look great with chrome.

thanks for answers,i think i want to do all in chrome,but then i have to order chrome grille,mirrors and bumpers from usa,thats hell of a shipping cost.... :O
But what can we say, having a car,spesially a american car,when all the parts is very hard to come by here in norway, so you have to order them from america is very expencive!!!

Yes,im thinking about it,its much easier,and when i turn 18,if i dont like it,i could just buy all the things then

 

imo ive always thought red and chrome go good.

 

quick question on your post ( #12) with your old ranger whats up with the body lines from cab to bed

 

Chrome was good in the early years, now it's all about colour matched or black.

Do yourself the favor and black the accent pieces out or colour match them.

i say black. not a fan of crom.. maybe a litle detail crom... somethng that makes itouttand.. but very little crome..

 

you have to have ballence, if you have it all blacked out but one or 2 little things, chromed, it will look stank... but same if it's all chrome except black bumpers... ghey... you need to have a good ballence, although red, chrome and black all looks good together
