When i first saw the 2007 ranger 4.0l with only 57000 km ( 35000miles) on it, the one concern i had was it did not come with a cruise. But with 5 other people ready to jump on the truck i quickly discovered i could add one. I purchased the truck and then immediately purchased the Cruse control unit from the Cruise control store (Rostra#4429). I have read that i should take 2 hours, well for me it was more like 2 days as it was the first time adding anything like that to a vehicle. In the end it was not hard, you just had to figure out where everything went. The help sheet for the 2007 ranger from the company helped allot. There was certainly a learning curve to get used to where everything was located, but once i figured it out, it went together really well with no problems. With the recommended settings from the company for this vehicle, it seems to work just fine. I just realized i don't have any pictures of the cruise control installation loaded on the phone, but will post them later.
