yea, i just saw him calling you out on "whats your truck look like?" as far as I can tell from most of the posts i've seen you seem to know your ****.
guys, it doesn't matter wtf is done to your truck, you could have the most bone stock truck on here and be the most knowledgeable person around, and you could also have the most built truck and not know ****..

BUT... what do I know... a member called me a NOOB and not as smart just because he had more posts than I do...
I guess you guys are right... slap the biggest gayest lift you can on and run the biggest tires you can... perfect for EVERY type of wheeling.

I'm not saying you need lots of lift to run big tires..
I'm about to take my body lift off and I'm already only 1-2" taller than a ranger with JUST a superlift and 35s on it.. then I'm gonna put 37s on it, talk about stuffing.
I'm just saying it doesnt matter what you drive to determine what you know.

I'm just trying to get people to stop looking at one type of wheeling and realize that there are different requirements/ways to set a truck up for different types of wheeling.
it's not always just lift and big tires...

There are reasons people put lifts on trucks to clear 35's... Reasons why they don't leave the suspension stock and hack the **** out of the trucks just for a tire. Save yourself the brutality this thread has brought and put a BL on it. Bout $200 and a day off work to put it on. People would respect it a lot more.

Have fun with the truck! A wheeling rig is all about having fun and if it looks like crap who cares. I don't think it looks bad. It's obviously not a show truck, so enjoy those wheeling trips with it!
Scratches, yeah I got them, too many! The desert can be a mean place. This was when I only had the truck for 6 months. After this trip scrathes were no big deal. I wash and wax my truck and there a re a good bunch of scratches that are always there especially if you look a the right angle, yeah good stuff!

If you really don't care and just want to break it this is perfect. lol. 2 suggestions though. do something to protect the tires from getting shredded by the fenders (maybe roll a big round peice of steel or empty fire extinguisher in between to round it off) and the second thing is if you want to be able to do anything with it a re-gear is in order. if you haven't done one allready that is. oh and good luck breaking the ttb. :D have fun.

wow just wow, this thread is brutal. I'm going to go against the grain here and say its a great budget build. hack the fenders up and clean out the wheel wells and you will be golden. if ya wheel in areas with trees and rocks your gonna bash the body anyway so who cares if the fenders are cut up.
keep up the good work and don't let the haters bug ya!
