Taurus E-Brake?

I was wondering if anyone has swapped a Tauras (crown vic,/full size for car) E-brake into a Ranger. Its the one where you push it down to engage the brake and then push it again to disengage it. I use my E-brake when ever I park in my driveway since I am on a pretty steep hill. I was thinking it would be nice to have instead of having to bend down and release it.

Has any one seen this before or have any ideas of how it would be done? I have not yet looked at the way each of them are mounted but I think i have an idea.
