So I wanna shade my tail and third brake lights. im pretty set on doing only one light coat, im going for the darker look but still have a hint or red. My question is would masking off the reverse light be necessary or would light easily pass with only one shade coat and clear?

Ps. Step five in this thread is pretty much what im looking to do: https://www.ranger-forums.com/f43/ho...lights-104575/

You should buy some bright L1224R tail light LEDs from me so people can actually see you stopping now.

If you're worried about light going through a clear lense if it's tinted, then why the hell are you considering niteshading the RED COLORED lense????

dont understand what you're trying to say shane lol. Im asking if the light output would still be white with just one coat. Also would generic stores like pepboys/ autozone sell this stuff?

Yes you can see out them just fine. I had my tail light and reverse lights on my Jeep with 3 coats and light got out them just fine. You could see the light from 600 ft away and by law they are only required to be seen from 500 ft away here. So you will be just fine with 1 coat.
