NSG370 6-speed tranny

ive noticed newer jeeps have a six speed manual tranny. would it be possible to put one of these in a ranger? an extra low gear would be awesome for towing or real slow 4x4ing if you didnt have to stop to switch out of 4L

I have the 6 speed in my Rubicon, it is not a granny gear 1st. It's slightly lower than some manuals, but it's not really worth it.

A six speed would be nice to drop rpm on the highway a little more... That's about it

I just sold my jeep with the 6 speed tranny. Its not worth it as it has a .86 overdrive. The first gear is a 4.46:1 which was nice with my 4.10's but not worth for a swap. That is probably the clunkiest trans I have ever driven.
