Police Like them! :)
The top ones are yellow bulbs and the bottom fogs are spray painted yellow with glass paint. I'[m suprised they matched so perfectly.
got bored and wanted more visibility and more attention *****-ness. Other drivers don't ever see my truck. People constantly turn out in front of me not seeing me cuz my truck is the same color is the street so i have my lights on no matter what time of the day it is. Banana truck!
Not really a new idea- i just never see rangers with yellow headlights.

Yeah for rain its great. Fogs are SUPPOSED to be yellow or white- blue is useless. Acuras and Mercedes come stock with yellow lenses in the headlight position. It was more of a **** you to the guys with silverstars and the gh3y blue and purple lights that blind people. I cannot stand those people. The human eye LOVES the color blue and purple so as much as you say you hate it, your pupil doesn't close as fast as it should when cars are coming at you as opposed to yellow. I hate it.

Yeah. I know all the cops here. Never been pulled over before except by a Norco Sheriff (let me off cuz i'm awesome and didn't have exhaust, off road tires, off road lights ) and a Highway Patrol (for tint- what a dick)
The cop that I talked to like the yellow lights and he says he'd rather every motorist have yellow then non courteous drivers blinding people with their purple or blue hids. Anyway, he told me a vehicle may have 4 front facing lights- yellow or white. Another thing is, i'm not like everyone else who uses their fogs at night driving around in the city just because it looks cool. In the daytime, i use my brights (so people don't left turn in front of me) and when it becomes night I turn the regular lights on. Fogs and brights if i'm on a dark road. That was fun while it lasted- now i have to pull the lights out to put them in my other car read sig!

Most fogs are fine when they are properly aimed. A lot of fogs throw light all over the place and are aimed high. After I leveled my F150 I aimed both fogs and heads and haven't had a single person flash any lights at me.
I don't like the HID retrofit kits either. I'd much rather have yellow halogens pointed at me than blue hids with a bunch of scatter.
I was flying my boss and his wife home the other night, and even from 2000 ft I could spot a few cars with HID retrofit kits. Most cars reflected no light up but the blue-ish hids would reflect even straight up. Found it kind of funny.

But HID fanatics who think they are getting better visibility and aren't harming the vision of oncomming traffic should read this. http://faqlight.carpassion.info/retro-vs-oem.htm
They should also have a gander at this
They should also read this:
The arc light source in an HID headlamp is fundamentally different in size, shape, orientation, and luminosity distribution compared to the filament light source used in tungsten-halogen headlamps. For that reason, HID-specific optics are used to collect and distribute the light. HID burners cannot effectively or safely be installed in optics designed to take filament bulbs; doing so results in improperly-focused beam patterns and excessive glare, and is therefore illegal in almost all countries.
Check the source as well.

Not at all. Most state laws are very vague when it comes to lights. Most often they will simply say what colors are allowed in each direction. Typically they allow white and yellow to the front of the vehicle, red to the rear allowing for yellow to signal a turn and white for reverse. They do not all specify what physical device must produce each given color. Every state is different and saying it is illegal everywhere is 100% incorrect.

Stock halogens are almost yellow as it is lol, they're like 3200-3400k.
However, I say yellow lights FTW. No glare, no reflection. It's the perfect colour for the ultimate visibility. The yellow cuts through fog, snow, dust etc and doesn't create the blinding glares blue or other coloured bulbs make.
I love my 80w 2500k Nokya fogs.

Im sorry but there is a honda prelude that drives around my neighbord hood with yellow headlights and fogs, and I cant stand to see them when i drive by at dark, its almost like having a set of 150 watt KC's in your face... You should have someone else drive your truck and see how you like them..
