2WD off roading improvements

I have a a 2006 for rangoer sport with a vulcan 3.0. it is a great machine but is only 2x4, but that doesnt stop me from having some fun in the mud. ive already put 32 inch all terrains and cragars. and a leveling kit is going on soon. next improvement is an exhaust but im not sure which. any suggestions on exhaust or any ways to improve my off road performance. maybe a posi trac rear? or lockers?

Yup, a limited slip or locker in the rear would be by far your best mod for offroading. After that I would say good shocks. No need to buy a leveling kit, just crank your torsion bars.

cranking ur torsion bars is a great option but it does cause a rough ride it just depends on how much ur willing to spend as the torsion bars is a free alternative

I cranked mine 1" and it improved the ride. Cranking vs using leveling keys results in the same ride, the only difference is one is free.

It isn't exactly free, you'll need to get your car aligned after you crank them or else the ride quality will suffer.

ride quality will suffer either way.. its the tires that will eat it if the truck isnt aligned.

Yes, all lifts require an alignment.

No, cranking your bars does not ruin your ride unless you go to far.

i know from experience with freinds trucks and many other ppls trucks that if u crank the torsion bars to the max when u hit big bumps such as railroad tracks the front end is stiff therefore resulting in a rough ride

Right, you went too far. Not only does that ruin your ride, but it puts your camber out of limits which requires installing a camber kit. Mine bottomed out over big bumps and railroad tracks when it was stock, cranking them a little improved the ride a lot and still kept the camber in limits.

found it on craigslist last summer locally, some kid in yuba city built it i was told. he slapped it on his ranger and sold the truck, guy who bought it hated the bumper and sold it to relatively cheap.
