Mirrors

Hello,

I have a 2004 ranger Edge, with the old style mirrors, i am going to upgrade to an 06 style mirror, Only thing i cant decide on 100% is which style, my truck is White with black trim, So i am not sure if i should go with the full black texture style, or if i should go with the textured black with white inserts....

What do you all think?

I am thinking all black, Not sure if i want to get teh white caps in them or not.

Also, I am finally planning on doing the blacked out headlight mod.... YAY! i've got new headlights so i can do them at my lesure, damn i got the headlights for cheap

Thanks for your input

Textured black with white inserts. You know the 06 mirrors won't just bolt in right?

For the 06+ mirrors you will need to drill out the factory mounting holes. Nothing major though.

I thought they were direct bolt up, they look the same, we are always getting mirrors in for them.

Oh well, drilling out the holes is no big deal, usually we get the mirrors for the right year truck :-)
But i am willing to do that. The 06+ Mirrors look WAY better in my opinion

Yeah its not hard. Basically drill the hole out and then you have to add washers. I think theres probably a write-up in the how-to submissions section on here.

Ask Lazler if you can't find it. He has the page bookmarked.

Hands down, one of the best mods I've done to my truck. Visibility is absolutely incredible!!

I'm also thinking of doing this, would it be pretty easy to come by a set of these?
