Looking for Long Arm Suspension Lift....

Looking for a Long Arm Suspension lift that would not void the factory warranty in my 09 Ranger XLT 4x4. Not sure if anything would be available or not. Just looking to get a little more ground clearance for a little offroading fun. Not looking to go into DEEP Mud, but wouldnt mind getting it a little dirty. Also wondering how a set of 33 x 10.5 x 15 would look. I dont want the tires too narrow, but dont want them too wide either...any ideas??

Only Long-Travel kit made for rangers is the DBR kit priced at $5k, then put some fiberglass fenders up front and run some 33x11.50's if you want something not too wide and not too skinny.

That's about your only option.. But then again, I think you'll lose you warranty. Anything aftermarket and Ford will void it. Seriously, I had a friend run 32 BFG's on his stock 07, and he had a transfer case issue, Ford told him they wouldn't fix it under warranty because the reason the case went out was he put on a tire 1" over stock and caused the case to go bad.

Wow...a little more than Im looking to spend, lol. Got any suggestions for a regular suspension lift? Were they able to prove the tires messed up the transfer case?

No what he did was ended up borrowing another members' 31's and throwing them on and going to a different stealership and they fixed his case for him. There's no way they could PROVE the 1" bigger tire, screwed it up.

As for lift, you've got a few options.

Bodylift for around $160-220 depending on where you buy it.

Superlift 4" suspension lift for around $1,500.... Then the Superlift shaft is $400-500, and if you want a lil more lift, people are swapping out the torsion bars for Coil-over conversions, which cost an additional $800 (Don't quote me, I haven't looked at the price in a long time. But it's sold through a site vendor called ORW, Off-Road Warehouse).

RCD 5.5" Coil over suspension lift which isn't produced anymore, but can still be found. That's what I have. Those run anywhere from $1,500-2,200... Again depending on the condition and where you buy it from. But you have to upgrade the coils in the coil-over becuase the RCD coils sag, the front diff pinion bracket needs to be gusseted and the front drivershaft MAY go out. Which would mean the superlift or make your own front shaft, like many of the members on here have done for about $200-300

And the last one, is the DBR kit. Like I said, it's about $5,000 now. It used to be around $3,500.

The one that will void any warranty for sure, is a SAS swap.

Yep. Just the brackets alone are $3,500 and then it's another $1,200 for coil-overs..

But a few members on here have it and it's a damn badass kit!
