Painting the wheels..
I've got the paint to paint my wheels now..
Rated to 1500 °F
It's BBQ grill paint, .
Should I spray paint them off of the truck?
Whats the easiest way to get two wheels off at a time??
Front then Back...
I'd like to be able to clean the brake pads, etc. when the wheels are off if I have to take them off, so suggestions for that aswell would be great!!

Well if you have jackstands you can put them under the rear axle and take both off and the same for the front...always keep the jack under the side you are working on as well as a stand for extra safety. Take them off to prevent overspray. To clean the brakes you can use PB Blaster which you can get at any Advance Auto Parts or other auto store. Just spray it on and let soak then wipe off. EASY.

Mind you, I don't see why you'd need to pop the bead. Mask the tire off and paint the damn rim already.....LOL

Idid this on my friends 04 Dodge ram 1500 he had the factorie 17" wheels that are steel painted kinda crome color (ya'll know what I mean ) heres the exact steps Iused
1st - washed the rim of exess dirt grease used a brillo pad so it would help scratch em up dryed with micro fiber towle
2nd - taped off the tire and stuck tissue paper in all the wholes ( we left tires on the truck ) as not to get any paint on the disc and calipers .
3rd - sanded down wheel with 120 grit paper and cleaned with tacky cloth
4th - layed down a good coat of .94 cent walmart primer and let dry till tacky and then another light coat
5th - I used engine enamel but its pretty much the same as BBQ enamel and layed down 4 light coats and then one last medium coat
6th - waited 2 hours and threw a very light coat of sealer on and remover all masking and paper
This was done about 4 months ago and i saw his truck on saterday and it still looks great it goes with the black trim and silver paint it looks 10x better .
In conclusion i was honestly suprised the results we got from such little efort and money so far they have not faded , chiped , or cracked so iwould totaly recomend this mod and i think all we spent was about 2 bucks fpr primer and anothe 4.99 a can for enamel and we only used 2 cans and had everything else so under 15.00 bucks its a great deal to .
dificulty a 2 (just becuase it tediuos details that make it work good )
