haha nice. Anybody know if the t-bolt body kit would be an issue with the STX/mazda bed? I know the front valence is kind of off balance looking as is. I started liking the mazda bed after figuring wider tires/rims would look good because it has that little bit of flare to it.

Sure, it's decently quick, handles great, but "I" didn't make it like that. I know, I know what y'all would say- I could make it quicker, make it handle better, get into the 'euro scene'- but that isn't me. So i'm just brainstorming, if you will.

No I didn't take it the wrong way at all, seriously I was eyeballing one that carmax has.. 2003 Fx4 Lvl2, bright red with the red two tone seats and twin sticks. I just wouldn't use it to it's true potential
I mean if I was back in Galveston it would be nice to have for running around on the beach with, but im in the hill country atm..

I'd finish off the bodykit, rollpan. I like that Valiance, but WTF was ford thinking when they put it on that truck without the rest of the truck having the body done? It looks like a stupid snowplow or cow-tosser on the front of a train.
I see the inbreds already had their say so.. Instead of stupidity, I'll add something intelligent while their pro-creating with their families. Git-R-Dun!
Being on coils, you start off with a huge advantage then where I did with T-bars. I would find a local shop that could twist up some 950-975lb springs with an inch of drop in them. I would keep the 15inch wheels for the sole purpose of ' tire selection '. Theres MANY good tires in a 15 size that would handle quite well on the roads. Their CHEAP in cost so ripping them up is way less expensive then what a 17, 18 or 20 inch tire would be. As Chris ( Gumby ) stated.. The whole mustang wheel theme is so overdone. I'm tired of my Terminator Wheels.
You could take an inch or 2 out of the back with a custom set of leafs that could also be rated to a higher load capacity.
Traction bars can be bought for 80$ ( Lakewoods ) from Summit and fabbing up a simple Pan-hard rod to keep the rear centered and from not coming out would be a simple task as well.
Sway bars.. the front already has one ( Roush is the same factory part ) and if you use a panhard out back, a sway won't help all that much ( its nice to have, but with swaybars, traction bars and a panhard bar.. it gets tight for room ).
I wonder what those factory aluminum wheels would look like if the faces were powder coated a dark metallic gray with the lips/edges staying the factory aluminum color.
A lot of people posted about tuners, exhausts and a whole bunch of performance goodies.. but their pointless. A *stock* SOHC with a manual can overpower the tires right off the sales lot. Even with 3.55's out back, it can still spin them and chirp into second or third. Why buy all the goodies when the power isn't staying hooked to the ground/being effective?
Harness what the truck has to start, then build from there. It will keep good spirits through the whole build and less of a chance of disappointment/having to re-do things again as progress goes on.

I really like the way the truck looks now. If it was my truck, I would not change much about it at all. I would tint the windows, put a OHC in it, and stuff like that. I really like the way that truck looks and would trade mine in a heart beat for it.
What motor is in it? If I had the money, I would either turbo or super charge it.

Who's Truck is This??? I need to talk to them badly.... I have an 06 Ranger STX Extended cab ranger with a 4/5 drop running 18's all the way around... pics will be posted tomorrow as I am at work and didn't have time to upload last night when i finished the drop...
