OEM is not always the way to go.
But try it out, maybe it is one of those gimmicks that actually work?

Slick 50 has TEFLON ( (TPFE) ) in it and if you heat it up in a glass vial you can actually see the Teflon SEPARATE into SOLIDS!!!!!
I think pouring slick 50 in your engine is like pouring sand in your engine, just my opinion.
""Slick 50 -- lost lawsuit to FTC (false advertising)
Duralube--lost lawsuit to FTC
MotorUp -- lost lawsuit to FTC
Fuelmax - lost lawsuit to FTC
Zmax -- settled out of court
Prolube-- busted by CR as useless, but not prohibited by FTC as yet ""

Some good articles about oil additives on the net - general concensus seems to be that teflon, or zinc, or other stuff generally found in them aren't so good for your engine.
Save your money.
Best way to keep your engine healthy is probably with regular maintenance; especially short interval (at least to manufacturer's spec) oil and filter changes.
