did something stupid

hey everyone... im a new member to the site but have been reading yall's posts for a while now... learned a lot... however i think i did something stupid... about 3 weeks ago, during my last oil change i added an oil treatment (degunker) to the oil... now i notice a noticeable difference in the performance and its not good... HOW CAN I FIX THIS???? pLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

btw... i drive a 2006 ranger sport supercab

Just change the oil and filter and you will be fine.

Some oil treatment/cleaners are only meant to be used for a few days, then you are suppose to change the oil.
So generally you add the treatment/cleaner just before you plan to change the oil.

And the treatment and the performance issues could be unrelated.

cool... thank you RonD.... i'll try that...i only had that cleaner in for ten minutes with the old oil then i had the oil changed. it was in there for a short while. but i will give it another oil change, hopefully that works!!!! thanks again

Let the engine heat up to operating temp before changing the oil.
