1986 Ranger project

I restored my first truck about 2 years ago. I found it in a guys back yard (more like a field) and it had weeds all up in the engine. I thought I would have to do a lot to the engine to make it start but all that I had to do was get a battery and it started right up..I mean like, RIGHT away. It scared the crap out of me. But anyways..here are some pictures that I took during the restoration:

This was on the back right hand side

This picture kinda looks funny, but here it is anyway

This was after we got the dent on the rear passenger side done. I know it don't look smooth, but it is.

That one was on the other side.

And now here is the finished truck. (pic sucks but you get the general idea)




So anyway, yeah, did that while I was 15. I was pretty happy with it.

that looks really good, and now I know what year my stx emblems came from, if you still have them I might wanna snag them =]

Ha! Yeah, well, it was supposed to be Kandy apple red..but the suppler didn't quite get it right.

If you want another one I'll sell you my '86 when I get it running. Looks like you've done a pretty good job fixing it up.
