Here she is the day i picked her up. 85 bronco ii, 2.8L, a4ld, bw1350. and alot of extra parts. bought her for $1,000 to replace my ranger for a new family ride.
My rig came with 2" Daystar spacers, and some AAL's for the rear, and some 31x10.50 goodyear at/d's. It had multiple oil leaks that needed fixing first
This pic is at the previous owners house during negotiating
Surprised she made it home with all that leaking oil
I did the timing cover seal, rear main, and valve cover gaskets, and that got me going.
There was alot of body work to be done, and the previous owner put some of those cheap autozone one size fits all spacers in the middle of the coils for extra lift, it made it ride like **** and handle funny so i took em out, and threw on some 235's on stock ranger steelies i had laying around, because the tranny was shifting funny and it was mad slow with the 31's. they also scrubbed on about every bump. i did the body work and got all the rust off the hood, and started to paint her desert tan, and ran out of paint.
It also didnt have carpet and i had some left over from the house...nice and comfy
I got tired of the thing being about 4 different colors so i got to sanding and painted her all one color. rolled the paint on using quart cans of rustoleum gloss white thinned 50/50 with mineral spirits. And yea i know i got some places to clean up, but for 30 bux i cant complain

I also got some new tires about 3 days before i painted her. 30x9.50 Wild Country MXT's
Then i got tired of her running like crap, stalling, and getting about 10 mpgs. So i went to the parts store and got everything i needed to do the Duraspark conversion. Yeah i had a few problems, but i got it all worked out. I made a metering block for the stock carb for now.
Before
After
Summit Racing coil
Then i figured since it has been so nice here lately ill make some removable door pins and some plugs for the door wires so i can take them on and off. I used 88-98 c/k1500 door pins and bushings. had to drill my door brackets out a little bit but they work
Then i went night wheeling and lost a coil, so i made some spring retainers, heres me testing them out

Heres my Panasonic cd player i've had for ages...i love it.
Next up is going to be either a 347 swap with some zj 4" coils up front with d44 full width ttb out of a FSB, or build my 2.8 with d44 sas
Will be painting my doorjambs soon and herculining the roof and get a surco roof rack

well i got some more work done this weekend, and its starting to take shape.
i used some rustoleum roll on bedliner for the roof, and finally washed her and painted the window trim and put it back on.
also wasnt having to good of luck with the feedback 2150 carb with metering block so i went to summit and got a holley 350, no tuning needed right out of the box, so it made life alot easier.
painted roof, no trim yet, just washed
trim on...
