Just picked up a high mile Florida truck today...no rust !!! Its a 99 2 door ext cab with a 3.0 (bad motor) I'm not sure what the plan is yet...lol It could end up 4wd! Nice dark blue color... I'll have to get some better pics...

Yeah its actually in pretty nice shape, just a couple dings. The interior is nice except it needs a radio and its loaded.

Unloaded it today and put it in the garage. I took some better pics...and a little flex with #14...lol If you think about it its kinda cool that #14 has towed home 10 trucks...

Yeah I wouldn't have bought it because its high miles 200,000+ but its in so nice of shape...

The cam syncronizer goes into the hole in the block a distributor used to go in on older motors. It serves 2 purposes. Mechanically it provides a link from the camshaft gear to the oil pump, the bottom of the shaft is a hex to drive the pump. Electronically it gives data to the computer telling it where the camshaft is.

Anyway I got it running tonight. Well the damage is done...it runs but the bottom is real loose, you can here it rattling.
