Birddog's '96 beater
Put new rear shackles and hangers on the beater today. Swapped some used tires on all 4 corners and put a new U joint on it. I wonder if I put the hangers on wrong because it sits so high now. Got 235 75r15 on the rear and 205's on the front.

Seems to be a good running truck, now that I can drive it.

Looked under the F150 and if thats the way they go in they are upside down. I had a '83 I put some lift coils on back in college when I swapped in a 302, that had a nice look. Maybe I will try that again. Will post a pic of the 83 when I can find it. Ok found a OLD pic of me and the truck

Put over 400 miles on it over the weekend. GREAT MPG compared to the F-150. Stll need to do rear cab supports. And I need to find 2 more wagon wheels, wish had never used the other 2 on a derby car years ago. Thinking I will put leveling coils on the front and match the rear tire size. Build a pre-runner front bumper to bolt on the front and not sure about the rear yet.
Here is a pic taken while shrink wrapping boats in Hocking Hills Ohio yesterday.

Dang truck just keeps making me $$. ]Put some new rims and rear tires on the truck last year. Ordered the leveling coils today and some new retreads for the front to match the rear tires. Good thing I ordered the springs, the front drivers side is broken.
Gotta build a real ladder rack, this way is just too redneck.
