Hey D, does a company or Eaton make a supercharger kit for Ford Ranger 4.0 SOHCs?

Just wondering, because I work for a construction machinery company, and I noticed boxes that say "eaton" on the side, and are conveniently superchargers. So I can probably order them at manufacturer's price.

But I don't think they make a kit..cept for the guy on RPS

Whatch that tranny though...

I have mine built to where I *could* supercharge it and be fine. You need a lot of work done on that tranny though

It's a weak setup stock from my experience. Mine was going before I sunk it.

god jared i hate you, first you have to double lift now a supercharger. when you get it done im coming over to see it, i havent seen your double lifted in person yet

i like what your doing and if i had the money i would probly attempt something like this... however i think its too much work just to make our 3.0 a lil faster, personally, i am happy being the slowest truck on the road if im the biggest

I would strongly suggest having a local dyno do the programming with the vehical there. Doug at bama is great, he could write you something that works.. but it might not be ' great '. The only true way to make it all work is to do it right the first time.

Honestly.. the MP62 is too small a displacement for a SOHC engine. Even with a smaller pulley, which increases boost ( AND HEAT ), its not too efficient. Starting with an MP90 would be better IMO.
