Lookin' good Daniel! Buuttt PLEASE, PLEASE don't have the shackle up front. Do a shackle reversal.. you'll be soo much more happy in the end. I don't know how the performance is of how you have it, but with a shackle reversal being a quite popular modification, you ought to think strongly of it while you're at the point you are.
Again, just my .02..

shackle in the front will mean less steel at the front of the frame and will also keep it somewhat low.
were not going for lift, rather function!
the brackets are super thick and i dought it will see any rock crawling.

the shackles are going in the front, unless i see it working better in the rear then thats what i will do.

Also, a shackle reversal does improve the function of the suspension. Look at any rear leaf spring setup. It carries the same principle as is achieved with a reversal (up front).
And as for the weight issue with less steel up front, that is really neither here nor there as either end will have steel. With the shackle up front there is even more steel as you have the shackle hangers and the shackle. The other end has only the leaf hanger.
Moving on, I don't want to come acrossed as an a**hole or be a PITA, but rather share all of my thoughts/opinions so they're out there. Of course its ultimately you're choice!

I can understand the shackle up front for lesser lift, but there are 'several ways to skin a cat' to do a shackle reversal and not get too much lift. By doing spring under you're already gonna keep it 3" lower than you otherwise would with SOA.

and also make a large and heavy frame extension at the front that will hang down and look like crap. all this will need to be done for proper pinion angle.
i dont see any benefit for this as it will be driven on the street and never see any rock crawling thus i dought he will ever bend the front springs, and that is why shackle reversal is done

"Both methods have their pluses and minuses. It boils down more to what the rig's purpose is - and personal preferences. If the Jeep is going to be a daily driver as well as weekend trail warrior, forward shackles may be the way to go. If the rig is primary a trail toy and sees more street miles on a trailer than with its tires on the tarmac, then the rear shackles may be more advantageous."

Lookin' good!
Well, there ya go. But I see this portion, "..forward shackles may be the way to go.." so I'm not too too convinced. Regardless, good luck on the project!
