Nah, I'll keep it 2wd for now. When I get ready for another big project I'll do a SAS. I talked to a buddy of mine this weekend that used to be an engineer for Skyjacker, and he pretty much convinced me to do a 4link in the rear. That may now be in the plans for next year.

Finally got around to painting and installing the mirror caps today. 06+ power mirror mod is complete! Also have all of the fender flares plastidipped, just need to put the passenger side ones back on.
I have 2 problems though... One being that I broke most of the push pins that go on the underside of the flares. Does anyone know the part number for them? I've found some that look similar, but I don't think they're the right ones. The second problem is that I like the look of the black flares so much, I think I'm going to peel the pastidip off and go with something permanent like a spray on bedliner. The plastidip on my Fusion is chipping off in some places and it's a pain to touch up. I don't want to be doing that with 2 vehicles.
And yes, there is newspaper in my windshield lol I need to peel it off since the dash is done. Means I have more pics to put up

Nice! I hate winter because my shitty caps are on.
My flares are zip tied on as well as clipped because the previous owner of my current fenders and bed was a hack and a half.
I didn't get a chance to have my truck buffed this summer but definitely in the spring because the idiot got black overspray all over the bed, idk how or what he was doing. I'll end it there because it's pissing me off again lmao

Picked up this bad boy today!! Fresh 347 Stroker in all its glory!
Also picked up the Ranger from my house where I've been working on the interior and a few other things, and took it and the motor to the shop up the road where the Explorer is. The guy there will be swapping everything over for me, with a little help from me whenever I get some time. He has the tools and time, and I've got all the parts and research on what we need to do to get this bad boy running lol
The Torque Monsters are supposed to be here in mid-November, and hopefully will be the last piece we need to make the swap complete. My goal is to have a 400-horse, lifted daily driver running the streets of north Louisiana by December 1
Getting ready to haul the truck to the shop:

Now I just need some coilovers after the swap is done! Speaking of which, will having coilovers and deleting the torsion bars affect my ability to install lift spindles?
Thanks man!

I won't be needing them for awhile. I want to enjoy the new motor for a little while before I lift it again and step up to 35s. Let me know when you get ready to sell. We may be able to work something out.

He said they'd be done in about a week. Black leather with red stitching

Haha yeah, I could've got a third seat in there if I had one. I just dropped them off a little while ago. I took the shop owner outside to show him the seats, and when we got to my car, he said "You've got Explorer seats in here? Are you Houdini?" Lol

Just a minor update to keep y'all interested lol
Been ordering little things like a new water pump, fuel pump, thermostat, and the fuel relocation kit. I went by the shop yesterday to drop some of the parts off and check progress. They haven't got on it yet because of some other things that had to get done, but they're supposed to get started next week once all of their other jobs are out the door and they can focus solely on my swap.
Going to call the guy with the seats tomorrow to see where he's at with them. He initially told me they'd be done in a week, which was last Friday, and I haven't heard from him yet. Also have all of the fender flares stripped off to put the bedliner on. Should do that this weekend as long as the weather's nice.
I do have a question though... What's the best way to tackle the driveshaft? I don't have any measurements on either one right now, but my initial thought is the Explorer shaft will be too short, and the Ranger's will be too long. If that's the case, will I need to do anything to the Ranger's shaft other than having it cut? Will I have to alter the U-joints or anything else?
