My spring silver lakes build is now under planning. I am hoping for some good months of sales, so i can make the money to pay for this build. Its a fair list of parts, but after, there isnt much ill want to add to the truck.

order #1
Deaver F31 leafs
Mcneil 4" Bedsides flat top
Radflo 2.0x8" resi shocks 5/8" shaft
Camburg 2.0 upgrade kit

order #2
Lockrite locker or true track
Deaver leaf spring RuffStuff kit
Rigid Dually LED's

Order #3
Optima battery
Rear 2.0 shocks non resi 12 or 14"

Then misc. things like paint, brakes, rear bumper ect.

So far i have the axle and will start working on it once it begins to warm up. Im pricing out brakes and seals as i work at a ford dealership now. I have the cash to do the entire build, I just want to take ti slow. Its COLD!

Not a big update, but progress. It was above freezing tonight so i tore down the axle, pulled the spiders, shafts and brakes.

New brakes, rotors, seals and a complete strip and paint are next. Shafts seem good as do the bearings. Once my locker is in, and i decided on a rear end setup, ill get the gears swapped over and install the axle.

depending on how we settle, i may use it to put the bedsides on the truck.

Pics. I dont have any of her car but the front bumper was facing down, the crash bar was bent and twisted, and it was not drive able.

My body damage

tire damage

her car was a 01 GL

yes. she rolled to a stop sign, didnt see me and went as i was in front of here. i was going about 15 when she hit me. pushed the bedside in slightly and my rear tire jumped up on her grill/bumper and that kicked my truck 3ft sideways.

Still waiting for a call from her.

I don't know how i missed this thread.
Its been a real slow day at work, so i read most of it.

Truck looks sick man. What did you do with the bumper/valence?
That accident doesn't look too bad. unless there is more your not showing. Just have the lady fork over enough to buy a "new tire" and fix your bedside.
Then buy bedsides.

she reported it to insurance. My front bumper i sold to build my tube bumper.

a claim adjuster id going to look at the truck, but the rear axle is shifted, bedside needs a repaint, and those tires are almost 300 each. Came out to $1175.

In truck news im transferring money to my paypal, for the first order. Taking a bit of a risk as its slow right now at work, hope it picks up! Deaver F31's, Camburg 2.0 kit, Fox 2.0x8 remote resi shocks with camburg specified valving, and mcneil 4" bedsides. My lock-right is going to be a bit, the brakes for my axle are on hold till i have the locker, my optima battery is again going to be a bit.

the truck needs the frame striped and painted, the engine needs a tune up. Plugs, intake clean, trans flush, oil change. grease the slip yoke, wheel bearings, brake service. Still hanging out waiting for warm weather or a warm spot to work. I need a few good $1K commissions so i can really get this rolling without worrying about demoing my savings.

I was gonna say, you could take the fog lights out and mount them up to the bottom of your tube bumper.
