How does the high stall torque coverter feel? Sounds like it allows it to rev a bit.
the high stall isnt in yet... beard put that heavy gearbox in before he brought it down... im not gonna break my back tryin to pull that stuff out! it needs the stall, with all the lowness of gears, it just wants to dig the back tires into the dirt when you shift into reverse(even with the brakes applied!)

Very impressive with the wiring! Maybe because I just went through this myself that sticks out as the most impressive part of this whole thing. There is something to be said about ripping into all that wiring and being able to read the diagrams well enough to patch it all back together and get it to work correctly.

Youre exactly right. it takes a skill to do that. It also helps to have good resources though.

Could you not have just bought a Painless wiring harness and used that. When I go to put the 302in my truck thats what I plan on doing.

Painless has nothing for a 5.4L that I am aware of.

Only one place does that I know of. They wanted a fortune and it wasnt a good option for me at all.

Thats surprising that they would not have something that would have worked.
