I pulled the radiator, replaced the rear brake pads, disassembled or atleast attempted to pull the hubs apart, test fit the front driveshaft, pulled all the output yokes from the 205, and a few other things.

the bad - the transmission and rear 205 crossmember mounts are not going to work (driveshaft clearance and angle.

the good - front shaft seems to clear the transmission!! big concern I had for some time.

i think I am going to loose the driveflanges for now and just run lockouts with a cheaper front locker.

long time goal is to get arb lockers front and rear, 35 spline inner chromolys for the front, CTMs, 35 spline alloys for the rear, etc etc... then i will use the driveflanges.

i need to step back and take smaller steps so i can wheel this thing like i want this summer. id rather not hit any rocks without a front locker and i dont want to buy a 30 spline arb only to replace it later with a 35spline.

like these

and probable this power trax locker

yeah no sense crap'n up a half summer of wheeling or more just to wait for what you want in. I'd rather drop a 1/4 of the cash and get it out on some trips, then build it up at the end of the season or something.

I did a bit more hacking on the body and got my sway bar mounted in this afternoon. Fixed the winch(stuck brushes), made a new radiator mount, remeasured the front driveshaft.

Maybe this week I will have a front driveshaft and the wiring resolved.

order my powertrax locker, milemarker hubs and dropping off the front driveshaft tomorrow.

If they ship tomorrow maybe some 4wd fun this weekend?

Also mounted the air filter and hooked up the lower radiator hose.

Tomorrow I plan to fill it up with coolant and work on the wiring, that is unless it is really nice out then I'm playing golf... lol

When you're waiting for something in the mail Friday can be the most disappointing day of the week when it doesn't show up hahahaha

I hate that so much.
