after a few wheeling trips sight tube or not you will have a pretty good idea how much fuel you need. I always go out full anyway and it usually lasts all day. i hope the same with the 5.4

when i was supercharged that 4.0 would burn up 20 gallons in a day.

I modded the fuel pump with the Walbro 255 lph pump and reinstalled it.
Nice choice on the radiator i was very pleased with mine for how little it cost im running a 31x19 and i never get over 190 degrees so im happy with it.

yeah dunes i could easily go through the 20 gallons, crawling would be like 10 gallons a day maybe a little more.

I already have the trans temp and oil pressure mounted there. I may make some type of center console thing?

Since its goign to be a crawler/dune runner - how about mounting it front and center abot where the rear view mirror would go up on the roof there? Gets them out of the way, and you dont have to cut up the dash to make them fit.

I got my radiator the larger one(26x19) and my efan/shroud ordered. I cant really figure out how to mount it exactly but I am sure I can figure something out. I only have 3" from the water pump to the radiator. Not much room at all once you toss a fan in there. We will see if it all clears. If not I will have to cut out some tube that I put in to move the radiator more forward.

I dont want to run lines that far. Plus it messes with your cooling flow and performance. You really have to pay attention to what you are doing if you mount one in the rear.

yeah it is, your right. Just trying to avoid it if at all possible. Im really tired of spending money and adding more variables to this project.
