So will the motor be running when you pick it up this go around, or you at that stage.....

Got it Friday. yeah I would much rather have a newer truck. but my price range for "new" trucks only included the 6.0, I didnt wanna **** with that **** so I went down a notch for a little more stability. I would have your 6.4 truck in a heart beat. love the body style and the motor..when you have good luck with it heh

yeah i love driving Josh's truck but it is loud and he has issues with it starting in the winter as well as other little things that he cant seem to get worked out. plus its pretty loud. haha

Well I'm back home, and like nick said it will be close to ready to wheel when i get back down there. But I dont plan to wheel it until may? I might go for a test when i get it home. but no dates for that and i dont have much vacation until March.

That's what I like about 7.3s. The reliability is right up there with Cummins diesels. Can't beat um.

Yeah, 10+ year old motors tend to be, but so are Rangers so it kinda works out. But diesels in general don't make very good DDs honestly. You said it yourself before in the SD's build thread, gasers are a better choice unless you are hauling all the time. I have to say though your body style is my favorite SD style yet. The new ones look like Tundras lol.

Woohoo! Finally, Thanks Nick for working with him on this thing! its amazing how long this particular stage in the build has taken.. lets just hope its all dependable and doesnt give you too many problems :-p

I am sure Nick will keep the thread updated. Or he will send the pictures to me and I will. Its not a simple fire it over and debug, still a decent amount of work yet.

haha nah im over that. i will probably be once i hear it has started and idled for 15 minutes with no issues. then i will want to be there asap.

there are just so many variables of what could go wrong. its unreal. almost mind boggling.
