Main thing on my list is to drop the tcases and transmission, rebuild the trans and dial in the shifters. That is what needs the most work out of anything. I cant get it to stay in 4wd and it wont go in Lo Lo 4wd. Its just not as smooth or efficient as I think it should be. I have a ton of new transmission parts too.

I finally got sick of this thing over heating, ordered a new radiator, taurus efan, new mounts and also moved the trans cooler from the front to the rear so the fan would cool it as well.

Anyone else have iPhone image issues? I have rotated these dang things on the computer and they still are incorrrect on here.

 

Looking good. Did you run hose all the way up to the engine or did you hard pipe some of it? If so, copper?

I ran hose the whole way. If I have to do it again I would run aluminized exhaust pipe at least in the straights.

I used boat/marine coolant lines. You can buy it by the foot.

I always wondered how most dealt with the long lines running to the rear. I like the exhaust pipe idea.

Ever wonder how much different a 14 bolt is from a Dana 60? Its significant! lol



Plan is some disc brakes, spool, 5,13s, 1350 yoke, diff cover, truss and pinion support. Finally get this sucker running again
