Sounds like a plan! Maybe get a meet going at Summit or something!
You ever driven a vehicle with a cable clutch ( not a soft one like your rangers hydro-clutch ) but one that requires feel? I ditched that sh1tty slave cylinder tranny within the first year of having my truck ( Thus nobody has seen a post from me about that POS failing! ).

Ask anyone what my track times are, theres maybe 4 people whom know ( and wont tell what they are ) and only 1 ( Brian ) whom witnessed it ( His F150 was in the lane next to and BEHIND me )
Long have been destroyed, my timeslips that were once posted.
Front suspension.....Carbon Fiber and Composite materials by chance?? Expensive...but Indycar like.

Dano,
On your Ranger-
Sounds like a neat upgrade, converting to coil-overs. Do you know what spring free length your looking for?
We offer very few above 650lb. I can send you a free catalog (need address)
Dave-
Looks like theres some aftermarket folks willing to help with the front suspension .
Hey Nick! They have higher rated springs after all! I have a contact if you need it.

I've spent the better part of the morning ' weighing-in ' on things. I want to have a good launching grip as well as lateral stability.
The math is really odd for weight transfer going in 2 sepperate directions, 90degrees away from each other.
Its not just carrying the weight, its the reaction of the spring or ' rebound '.
Thanks for the contact Chris/Gumby! I'm going to give them a call this coming week. I guess they do any kind of custom bending/treating?

More welding, grinding, filling and smoothing. I'm surprised nobody said anything about the rollpan in the first set of pics laying on the bottom ( well top in that pic ) of the bed . NOBODY caught it or said anything .
Theres clues in these photos of things I haven't mentioned.
Details folks . Theres other ' clues ' as well
Anyway.. Something EVERYONE might want to check, especially those of you whom like to ' flex ' a lot. I bet your beds are all cracking in the bottom corners and you don't even know it ( I didnt! )..
Grind them out, fill them in.. the seams were splitting as well.

Her truck is ' next ' when I'm done with mine. I put mine off for about a year while working on a bunch of other vehicles.
