Hi D.,
You doing any turbocharging by any chance to your truck? If you are I have a link that might interest you. www.hellionpowersystems.com . I think they even have a dealer in your area too.

Please go back and read the first message I started this thread with, it might explain whats being done and when it will be presented.

I didn't say it was and who's arguing. I'm not. Just thought you'd might be doing that and tried to help you find some parts is all. You really didn't specify what you're doing in the beginning of this thread either. You only let part of the cat out of the bag dude. I just thought I'd contribute a link you might find usefull in the future. So peace out dude. It's obvious that you're still po'ed at me, even though I did appologize to you. I aint, and won't argue with anyone dude. When I saw 0 to 120 MPH in 2.1 sec. Ihad somewhat of an Idea of what you're doing. You're turning your truck into a Perfect killing machine.

Doesn't matter now, its all in the past. Its a new frontier for me.

Theres some things I just don't ' talk about ' and this happens to be one of those subjects I've learned to shut my mouth on as it often comes to haunt me. As time passes or snags are run into, sure, I will pop something on here and let everyone beat it up. :)

I'm not going to question anything you offer, nor am I going to consider it. Its not that your not worthy or noble, but the network of individuals I have been working with and the gurus from here have a history of success ( and some failures .. ) with beating up and fixing these trucks. Bits and pieces have been thought out and worked into the equation.. Certain things rely on another..

This has been in the works for about.. 2 years? I dunno, since I wasted the 3rd SOHC engine and realized its a wimp. Everything is planned and almost all the parts are purchased. The plan is in motion and I'm not going to sway from the path thats been started upon. I'm SURE theres better ways to do some of the things I will be doing but again, I'll wait till it breaks and have a second go at it then. :)

.. all done and in the past, no point in re-hashing it mate. No hard feelings held at all.
That's kool dude. I don't blame you at all on that. I've got plans for my truck too. I also aint said alot about what I'm doing either. All I mentioned in mine was turbocharging a V8. That's it. No specs or nothing will be given until it's completed. I also been planning mine for about 2 years now as well. I've tried certain things and had success(sometimes failing too). I want you know though I will be emailing you a website and play the demo movie and you'll get a small taste of what mine will sound like once completed. If you hear that setting at a traffic light don't race it. You'll get first dibs on what I am doing. I have also received parts but I am having trouble with Crane Cams. I will be dealing with someone else. I just sent "it" back to them for a 4th time asking for a refund.

I'm glad you don't hold anything against me. I just read what you posted wrong. Sorry dude. I'm glad you're sticking with your network and parts gurus and your plans. I will be doing the same. A neighbor of mine didn't do that on his 92 Ranger and after looking at what he's done to it his may be a t total loss because he didn't do what you and I are doing and that's sticking to the plan and people who are helping us out. Like you said in another thread why do it when someone else can do it for you. You and I have a similar train of thought dude. I too learned that the hard way. Don't advertise what you're running. It will bite you in the *** in the long run as I found out earlier too. If we ever meet I'll take you up on those Buffalo Wings. I aint had true Buffalo wings since 2003.

Thanks for the contact Chris/Gumby! I'm going to give them a call this coming week. I guess they do any kind of custom bending/treating?
What type of calcs are you trying to figure out for your suspension? I've been using Mitchell's WinGeo for some suspension geometry work and it's really really useful for standard setups like an SLA w/ a coilover like you're planning.

http://www.mitchellsoftware.com/prod01.htm

I know the website looks a little hokey, but the program is legitimate. The program's old, but there really isnt much "new" stuff going on in suspension design.

Anyhow, Try playing with that program and see if it can't help you out a bit. You may want to look into Milliken's book on Ground Vehicle Dynamics or Wong's book also. They're geared towards engineers though, so be prepared.

Shoot! I'd take any portion of it. I need about $450 before the first of June, just let me know if you want to part with any of those mods.

Didn't know you could get a 650 with Powerstroke... every one I've ever seen has a Cummins in it...

Anyway...

Keep up the good work D.!

its not the same power stroke that is in the F350 or 250. International Truck has bigger power strokes, not sure if that is what they call them or not but they have much larger versions of the v8 you see in the 3.4 ton 1 ton trucks

Icon10 Whoa...

Jesus D., How much have you spent on your truck lately? Please don't show your wallet like that, it makes me drool (L.O.L). So how goes the battle my friend? Mine is going OK. My neighbor (the dumb *** that he is) just hauled his stripped down ranger to the crusher. He got drunk, and decided to do the choppy, choppy thing on it and cut way, way too much out of the frame. Well fools have to learn the hard way. He should've planned this in advance and stayed away from the booze while he was doing the swap. Shame on him. You'll love the hell out of that truck lining. Dirt and debris will just bounce off of it and it does a hell of a job preventing rust. What kind of paint are you going to be using? Any ways just stopped in to see how you're doing and to say hello. Plus I can't wait to see the finished product.

I'm guessing that since you are going that far.. are you perhaps also going to take off the cab and undercoat it as well?

Nice wad of green up there as well... I remember the first time I had to pull out 3g's to pay cash for an item I bought a few years back, and had a gnarly looking wad sort of akin to that in my pocket.. almost scary carrying it around

Good luck with your supercharged, quad turbo, man eating, all wheel drive machine of death, destruction, and general mayhem.. *hah, I wish anyway*

Always a mystery... *sigh* =)
