First off a little back story on my ranger i got it late august 2010, bought it from my aunt for the big sum of $1300....what was the catch right? lol they said that it was parked in the feild a few years back because it "just stopped running". i had the truck towed to a junkyard that i was working at over that summer and got it running for about two minutes and it siezed up. the culprit no maintence and was beat to death. the bed was dented pretty badly and the rear door on the drives side was kicked in. mirrors were broken off just a big mess...
then came a bed and door from a 99.

cleaned the seats
then swapped them lol
then wheels and tires
few months later i had my exhaust done third cat removed, flowmaster delta 40 SI/DO and three inch tips
then got 06 tails from the girlfriend for xmas.
bout a month later the clutch went so i replaced it drove all day sunday the following monday went to take the gf to school and it blew a head gasket yeay.
soo after looking around for a week or so i bought the 4.0 out of the super dookie ranger (Zack)'s 04 ranger and dropped it in and got it running
now this week was its first big drive (160 miles) to school and not a single problem was happy to be back in my ranger.
what i want to do next would be a hurst short throw shifter, 06+ mirrors, and an sct tune.
let me know what u think about my 03 edge i love it and plan to drive the wheels off it and rebuild it again lol, i love how i know about every bolt on it personally.
Actually everything ive got from that jy i didnt have to pay for including the bed, door, and anything else i need lol the owner is well not related but basically my other grandpa.
so far im at $6304.87 invested in it
havent one much latley got a few things in the works for the next few weeks tho but dd some work with the truck moving some concrete slabs used in the kennel. truck was squatting pretty bad i think its time for new leaf springs,
So sort of a bump the truck left broke down on me this week got lots of codes, here they are if any one can help out, p0505-idle control system malfunction, p0116-engine coolant temp out of self test range, p1124 throttle position sensor out of self test range,p0171-system too lean bank 1,p0171b,p0174b-bank2 system too lean. was driving down the road when the truck started shaking horribly lost all power and then stalled, i have cheked the pcv elbow-its good, i have fuel pressure at the rail, i have spark through the wires, but the rear cylinder on bothe sides of the engine are not firing. will check compression tomorrow, anyone have and suggestions?
