Exo time!

Well I finally hauled the FX4 up to school (Wyotech in West Sacramento for those unaware) to build an exo cage in my chassis fab class.

Started the preliminary work by laying lines with 1/2" masking tape.

sweet, that is gonna add some serious wweight to the truck!

hope there are more bends and flow to it as well. good luck!

That's going to look realll good. Are you still going to be able to open your tailgate or is the cage going to get in the way?

Not as much as you would think. 1.75"x.120 wall tube weighs in at about 2 pounds per foot.

No way he will have 3-400 feet in that thing, 200-250 would be possible.

I used over 200 on mine.

not much in the way of scrap either.

that shop looks a **** ton bigger than the one in Laramie. I should go back for the refresher course and bring a project this time, not a last minute sas :/ lol

Not quite. I plan to re-do the color. The blue has actually faded quite abit since I first did it, hence the baby blue appearance now.

edit: is your hood all sun torched? has it always been like that? I dont remeber it having bad paint
