Project VHT Night shade

Today I'm going to VHT night shade my tail lights and and front turn signals. Going to start wet sanding here in the next few minutes. I will post pictures of the final product later tonight or tomorrow of them on the truck, depending on wether or not I get them done before its dark out. Here is some pics of them all taped up.

Looks good. Just make sure you spray lite coats of they with turn out like ****. And I hope you cleaned them with an acetone or something of that nature.

Clear coat is a must and I'm interested to see the corners.

Looks good. Glad you taped off the tails. It always looks retarded when people paint the whole thing.

Ya I hate it when the whole light is painted. I taped them for safety reasons as well. I will get some close up shots of the lights later.

Got pictures from the front with the lights off?
I'm more of a fan of just running clear lamps, but if the shade is done right, it can look really sweet.

Brakes aren't pressed. The running lights are just on.

They look awesome when they're on. I just don't like the all black look.

I had clear coat on them. I ended up wet sanding them with some 2000 grit sand paper and polished them off with some wax. They no longer have that dull look anymore.
