...doesn't look as drastic with the fiberglass on.

Bedsides begin tomorrow... however, there is one slight problem. There is no gas door mold on the bedside. Not too sure how I'm going to work this issue!

Be careful about mounting that filler neck smog guys get really picky when you take off the stock one. But its looking great man. Can't wait to see the rear fiberglass. Thats always fun to do.

Well, if you want to get really really crazy, you can do what I had my installer do, but it's dangerous lol.

It was my son's birthday this past weekend so I was pretty tied up. However, I did find the time here and there to begin the install of the bedsides. I have everything cut off and grinded down. The bedsides are now sitting on the truck and are only waiting to be slightly trimmed in a few places and then bolted on.

It's a shame seeing her sit in the driveway... she wants me to ride her! lol...

I have the progress pics and will post them tonight when I get home. I will finish the job tonight and post those pics tomorrow.

Delays, delays, delays... Sorry for loosing this thread! Amonst Mother's Day, my son's B-Day, my daughter's B-Day, my niece's communion, my other niece's quinceanera, my old Navy buddy returning home and crashing at the house, and housing 4 different air squadrons at work, I have been real busy this month... and broke, LOL!!!

Well here are some pics of when I began the bedsides (15-17MAY09):

Unfortunately my camara broke during my verly long, tiring, and expensive month. I will soon get more pics of the final product... and a new paint job is scheduled as well!

Yes it was painful and a lot more work than I anticipated. I went through countless disks, bits, and blades. There were also several adjustments that had to be made. But everything is done now and just waiting for paint!

Trust me down the road you will have to remove the whole fender. I ended up removing mine and bolted it back down its still solid and it meets the body lines perfectly.
