std cab to ex-cab swap

well, its going to be a long and grueling process, but i'm going to swap everything from my 96 std cab P/U to a 94 extra-cab P/U. ii'm swapong everything including the drivetrain, suspension, bed, dash and wire harness. i'll post up more pics later today when i get home. this is what i'm starting with more to come soon


ALL THIS FOR MORE LEG ROOM and something to do

sounds like its gonna be a pita, hope you have different seats to swap in.

youre also going to need the extended cab frame...

really??

but damn I never seen that low profile of a tire on a 14 inch deerhoove rim before

thats cause their 15" rims. and i have the frame. i have a complete truck less the drivetrain but its obd1 and the harness is cut so i either need a new harness or i swap everything, and i mean everything

and as for seats, i'm still deciding, but i think i'm going to use my escort seats i have on the supercab brackets

update

i finally got some time to start pulling the truck apart to see what i got, and its not as bad as i thought, but its pretty bad.

oh, and i got a computer and an engine bay harness from a 93 2.3 so i don't need to change the wiring harness in the cab

I would personally junk that frame, I can count dozens of rust hoes in it.. the strength of that frame there is completely shot..!

its actually not that bad, but i'm gonna plate it and put in new cross members anyway just to be on the safe side. i'mhoping to get more done today when i get home if i do, i'll post up more pics of my progress
