My 01/04 edge hood and some progress...

I finally had a good day to work on my project truck. I cut the front off of the 01 edge hood so it would fit my 04 grill and started doing a little body work...well ended up being paint work...lol

I woulda never expected the 01 powerdome to look that good with the 04 grill shell, that's all props to you :fing02:

Its not a perfect fit, but looks pretty good. To make it perfect it would need some filler...lol

That gap is WAYYY tighter than stock. I'm totally diggin it. Seriously...why didn't ford do the hoods that way?? 01-03 powerdome with provisions to the 04+ grille. Seriously....that is sex.

Yeah I am real happy with the results, gotta admit I was wondering if I was going to ruin the hood. I made 3 cuts to gradually get it there

This is something DEFINATELY in my list on things that are being considered for my lowered project someday. STX/SPORT grille, 01-03 powerdome. hell yea!

Its actually pretty smooth. I have one 2 coats of adhesion promoter, 2 coats of sealer, 2 coats of red and 2 coats of clear on it.
