My 4x4 ATV Build.....King Quad V-twin

Thought you may be interested in my little basement project I have been doing.

Started out with my old race machine (06 King Quad 700) that had a Single cylinder 700. I had quit a bit of work done to it but Im always looking for more power! It might have made 50RWHP

I decided to swap in a Kawie/Suzuki 700 V-Twin. It has been bored to a 730 with head work, cams ect. I hope to make 60 RWHP and a butt load more tourqe. After I get some new carbs on it and a stage 2 cam I hope to make close to 70 RWHP.

Started off by making a new rear engine mount. The front end lined up pretty good.

Moved the steering column support up out of the way.

I then got it running! Now that I know my wiring is good I started to clean it up a bit.

I then make a rough design of my air box. Cool think is I can still use the kawie air filter!

No good painted pics

Right now im just cleaning up the wiring. Hope to have it done in a couple days!

I still have the rhino, its just sitting. Too much money to dump into it (built a house half way threw it) plus it don't fit in my basement lol I'm half *** trying to sell it, but I have future plans for it once I get my own shop built.

For now this is what I got

This is about done anyways. All I really have to make it drivable is a rear axle, wiring (80% done) fuel tank (80% done) and exhaust

I've been staying up till 11-12 every night working on it. If I could find a freaking wiring diagram for my king quad I would probably be done wiring wise.

any way to take some shortcuts? maybe not on such a new motor, but on my 82 maxim I had i took it from like 500 connections and a bunch of relays to just a few simple wires. but that was after I got it running the way you have to deal with it. the whole sweet birdsnest of colorful wires that seem to have no home.

I could probably get it running with just 4 wires, but im keeping my lights (just in case), my diffs are electric so I gatta wire that in, PODs, ect.

I think I figured it out. I got a wiring diagram for a year newer model and it appears to be the same.

Im trying to keep all the wires the same color or very close because last time I used all the sale colors and it was a ***** when I had problems.
