Hey what up guys?!? Im so happy tonite! I got the front bumper all mounted up lastnite and it turned out great. Came up with a nice, simple and strong mount that allows me to unbolt it in about 2mins if I should need to get to my winch for service.
Just need to decide which lights Im going to mount on it and then I will click some pix tomorrow.

Front bumper is done except for skid plate. 4 bolts and two plugs for the lights and the bumper comes off in about 2mins. Put my old 140w ProComp lites on also.

Im in desperate need of some 2" rear blocks next, cant put new 33" on till I get the rear raised up a bit more.

Looks real good.

I vote for a new paint job. Just something cheap to make it look clean.

Since I can now rotate between all 5 tires I took my plate off the spare and mounted it to my antena mount.Dont know why I didnt figure that one out before, its much better .

I had to trim the rear fenders a bit and roll the lips. The rear of the truck has been very bouncy with a full size spare so I ordered a set of ProComp 2-2.5 AAL to get me some more clearance and to bring the spring rate up a bit.

And I am amazed that it feels no different as far as power goes with the bigger tires. I think I will put 4.10's in my new axles since I can get cheap used 4.10's all day long and I am sure it will work great. This 2.9 is alot stronger than I ever thought they were! I cant wait to get a 4.0 in this thing tho!

the new tires look awesome. I think you are going to need to cut the rear a little more though.

The lower front fenders need to be trimmed alot and the rears clear now and once I get the AAL on there I thing it will be fine even on a full stuff. I need to find some crap to crawl over to see if it has clearance issues else where.

They do ride alot rougher and vibrate alot more than the Buckshots did tho.Im hoping that the 40psi that was in them had something to do with that. I dropped em down to 30psi to see if that helps.

x2. Would be sweet to have my FSB and then a B2 for a trail rig.

The tires and wheels make such an improvement. Its amazing what a set of black wheels do to a truck.

You have that spare mounted on the stock tire carrier? Any weight issues like putting too much stress on the fenders? Don't let that spare tire rack get away while driving...or else it will cause some major damage. Ask me how I know

yeah for sure. I know the stock FSB ones could hold up to a lighter 35 with no problems. But alot of people beefed the mounting spots up. So watch it on the super bumpy roads and opening it on a windy day hah

Your truck has major damage from your spare tire opening James?

Must have missed that one.

Thanks for the comments guys!

The spare is something I have been thinking about alot.

I hate having it hang off the back like that cuz with as much as it weighs it does effect the handling of the truck. And I do worry about the latch on the glass hatch cracking, the body mounts Im not too worried about because its really solid there.

But....I seen no reason to even carry a spare if it aint the same size as the other tires or dam close. With a locker going in my 8.8 and another going up front if I ever need to put a spare on while Im out wheelin the fun is over if the sizes are too far off.

I would really love to roof mount it but its so heavy there is no way I could get it down without breakin my neck, plus it clears my garage door opening by only 2" now so if I do a roof mount there will be no more parking it inside to work on it.

............what to do...........

Depends on your definition of major damage. Its definitely noticeable, and would be hard to repair without replacing that whole rear quarter panel. Dont think it could be just popped out, and not to mention that area is much weaker now that it has already been dented. I mean, it doesn't affect much besides the way the truck looks...but I guess I mean "major" by what it takes to repair.

I don't see many solutions to your spare problem man. You pretty much have considered them all. It might fit in the back...but not sure if you wanted to do that because it takes up alot of space.

Started my add-a-leaf install today......pure fail.

Passenger side had the bottom leaf broken. No biggy,I just pulled the bottom leaf off the stock spring and put the AAL in.

Went to the drivers side and found all 4 leafs below the main are broken. Now Im stuck on what to do. Thinking of taking all the stock leafs off the stock spring and adding them below my Duff main along with the new AAL and pray it matches the other side. I kinda screwed myself by selling my Merkur saturday so now the B2 is my only driveable vehicle until my Ranger gets a new trans. So waiting on a new set of springs aint my best option. Plus Duff wants 500.00 for a new set of these springs....need a better option.
