swaping cabs out

I have a 99 ranger xlt and I need a new cab, I was wondering what years are the same. I plan on swaping out the front end also, I know the fenders and the hoods are the same up till like 06 I belive, I might be wrong. Was wondering if I need a new front clip or if the grille and lights all that will bolt right up?

I think you just need the header panel lights grille and bumper with valance. They hoods are only the same up to 04 in 04 they changed the grille and hood.

any cab from '93+ will be the same.....HOWEVER, if it were my truck, I would make sure it was a newer cab with the 4 door extended cab...by your avatar, it looks like an extended cab....

I highly doubt you would find anythign newer for a Cab in a junk yard.. honestly, either the vehicle has taken heavy front damage and had to be dumped.. or the engine would just plain fail out.. in which case the owner decides to ditch it and not do anything on the warranty (if its still available) I may be wrong.. but I honestly think it woudl be very very very hard to find a good condition cab for anything in the last 5 years.

Down here in clackamas, I've personally seen 25 rangers at a junkyard, and 15 of them had decent cabs.....if it was rear ended, there are dents where the top of the bed hit, but thats normal. Most of the front end damaged trucks, the cabs were fine.
